Car clay bar alternative? Test: Turtle Wax Light Polishing compound

Testing a clay bar substitute on my white electric car

I wanted to see if there can be an easier detailing alternative or substitute for those complicated car clay bar treatments. So I went out and got Turtle Wax Light to Medium Polishing Compound Cleaner. I first washed my Bolt EV (Ampera-e) electric car and used a cheap iron removal spray. Can this Turtle Wax Product replace a clay treatment?
