What’s the difference between Tesla Model 3 and Y panoramic glass?
The key difference between the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y glass roofs lies in structural continuity, surface area, and rear hatch integration. While both use dark-tinted laminated glass engineered to block over 99% of UV rays, the Model Y features a single, continuous glass canopy, whereas the Model 3 uses a split two-piece glass structure. This makes the rear part of the Tesla Model 3 Glass much more difficult to clean on the inside, as the glass cannot be accessed from the outside while lifting the rear cargo door hatch.
